Directions

chaliceOur central act of worship is the Holy Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, The Lord's Supper, or the mass. We worship in accordance with The Book of Common Prayer and The Hymnal of 1982, books that have been authorized by the General Convention of the Episcopal Church. As we are a diverse congregation, our worship services reflect a variety of different styles to meet the personal needs and expectations of our many members.

Throughout the calendar year that mirrors the public school calendar, we have Christian Education for both children and adults. We heartily welcome children to participate in our services and believe that the habit of church attendance is instilled at an early age.

Worship Service Opportunities

The Book of Common Prayer states, "At all celebrations of the Liturgy, it is fitting that the principal celebrant, whether bishop or priest, be assisted by other priests, deacons, and lay persons." Saint Peter's has a number of ways to be involved in our worship services, such as the Acolyte Guild, the Altar Guild, the Flower Guild, Front Door Ministries, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Choir Members.
